Winter
The winter in Saalfelden is a paradise for cross-country skiing, taking a walk and skiing.
Right behind our farm there is a cross-country skiing track which is part of the whole cross-country skiing network in Saalfelden. As a whole there are approx. 230 km of cross-country skiing tracks.
Schifahrer kommen aber natürlich ebenfalls auf Ihre Kosten. Das Schigebiet Leogang- Saalbach-Hinterglemm ist mit dem Auto in ca. 10 Minuten zu errreichen.
But also for skiers there are a lot of possibilities. For example the skiing region Leo-gang – Saalbach – Hinterglemm is attainable in 10 minutes with the car and the skiing region in Maria Alm and Dienten is obtainable in 10 to 15 minutes with the car.
A further interesting skiing region is the Hinterreit. With a bit of fortune it is possible to meet some of the most famous skiers because this is a popular training region for elite skiers.
It is also very romantic when travelling with a sleigh through the snowy scenery.
